I, Jean Walker MD, am the solo practice Obstetrician-Gynecologist of CCWM. My undergraduate education was with the fighting ILLINI. I went to medical school at University of Illinois-Chicago/Rockford, then Ob/Gyn residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. After residency I joined the Rush Center for Women's Medicine as an employed Rush physician practicing with 3 other employed internists (including Vesna Skul  MD, and Danuta Hoyer  MD). After 5 years, we had a strong patient following, and solidified our practice philosophy of respect, listen, and provide the best possible medical care using conventional, alternative, minimally invasive and natural methods.

We have since established our successful private practice. We continue to practice good medicine by first listening to our patients, providing and supporting alternative methods to optimize healthcare, and spending more quality time with our patients. As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, I believe in and follow a more natural supported labor and birth; and am a strong proponent of minimally invasive surgery, as a last resort. I thoroughly enjoy being an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, and have been told that it shows.
